Slow Cooker Hawaiian Barbecue Chicken

This Slow Cooker Hawaiian Barbecue Chicken is simple, easy, and delicious! With only five ingredients and your slow cooker, this is the epitome of a "set it and forget it" meal. You get a little kick from the barbecue and teriyaki sauces paired with some sweetness from the pineapple, and the end result is pure yumminess! The chicken is tender and juicy, and the sauce that is created is SO GOOD.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 onion diced
  • 1 can (20 ounces) pineapple chunks in 100% pineapple juice

Instructions

  • In your slow cooker, add the chicken, barbecue sauce, teriyaki sauce, onion, pineapple, and half of the juice from the can of pineapple.
  • Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
  • Once the chicken is cooked, remove from the slow cooker and shred with two forks.
  • Return to the slow cooker and allow it to cook for another 10-15 minutes to absorb the sauce.
