One Pan Steak Fajitas
While these One Pan Steak Fajitas taste exactly like what you would order at your favorite Mexican restaurant, you'll be happy to know that they're a healthier option because you'll be making them with less oil. The steak comes out tender and flavorful, and you get some some lovely color and texture from the onion and bell pepper.
Servings 6 servings
- avocado oil spray or any cooking spray of your choice
- 1-1/2 pounds flank steak or any steak of your choice, thinly sliced
- 2 bell peppers thinly sliced
- 1 onion thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- 1/2 tablespoon paprika
- 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
In a small bowl, combine the chili powder, cumin, oregano, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
Season the flank steak with half of the fajita seasoning.
In a skillet or frying pan over medium heat in some avocado oil spray, cook the flank steak to your liking.
Remove from the heat and place on a plate to rest.
Season the bell peppers and onion with the remaining half of the fajita seasoning.
In the same skillet or frying pan, saute the bell peppers and onion for a few minutes until tender.
Add the cooked flank steak back into the skillet or frying pan with the bell peppers and onions.
Stir well to combine and serve.
